Filed with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs a registration to solicit charitable donations in Virginia

The City of Petersburg conveyed and quitclaimed any interest that it had in the building

Prepared Deeds of Gift and Affidavits from the McKenney family members

Hired an accountant to prepare the annual Form 990 federal tax return

Completed an environmental assessment of the building

Hired an appraiser to appraise the building

Received a grant in the amount of $52,000 from The Cameron Foundation for a feasibility and sustainability study for the project

Petersburg City Council approves Community Development Block Grant funding in the amount of $185, 172.00 to replace the roof
